Coyote Hills DGC, Carlisle, PA.

In preparation for the Coyote Howler, held on April 26th, 2026 at the Coyote Hills Disc Golf Course in Carlisle, Pa, I gathered all of my wet weather gear. I remembered to bring extra towels and extra clothes. I had plenty of fluids and snacks. There were extra shoes in the car, extra camera battery packs in the recording kit, and even extra discs in case I lost something important and had to replace it between rounds.

The only think I forgot to bring along… was my game.

Boulder Woods DGC, Gifford Pinchot State Park, Wellsville, PA

The 2026 tournament season is in full swing. The Boulder Bash, held at Boulder Woods DGC in the Gifford Pinchot State Park in Wellsville, PA. is an indication of that fact. The course is considered to be the “little brother” to the Quaker’s Challenge course across the lake, but that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t have it’s challenges, too. Rocky terrain, subtle fairway turns, and well guarded greens make Boulder Woods something of a “Jeckel and Hyde” — one day you could stroll through the course picking up birdies right and left, and the next day the course steals your lunch money!

South Hills DGC, Lebanon, PA

After just two short weeks, we’re back at South Hills Park for “The Battle At The Hills.” This two round tournament featured both the Red (long) and Yellow (short) layouts, as well as three additional temporary holes. One would think that, after having just competed in a tournament at this course a few weeks ago, it would be relatively easy to score well.

One would be very, very wrong.

Shank Park DGC, Lebanon, PA

Sometimes life dictates that other matters come before tournament preparation. Warmer weather means the start of allergy season, increased outdoor chores, and other draws on my time.

So, for this tournament, I get to “wing it!”

South Hills DGC, Lebanon, PA

Last year’s attempt a this grueling 27-hole monstrosity was a lesson in aerodynamics, endurance, and a level of cursing that I never thought that I could achieve! This was my chance for revenge!!

Boulder Woods DGC, Wellsville, PA

The Boulder Woods Ice Bowl represented a bunch of firsts for the year; first 2-round tournament, first tournament with the new recording equipment, first tournament using some of the form and mental changes that I have been working on. I was looking forward to seeing what worked, how well, and what would need to be changed.

Buchmiller DGC, Lancaster, PA

Combine 6 inches of snow, a temperature of 7 degrees, and 77 fools crazy enough to go out and throw plastic, and what do you get? The 2026 Geibel Classic at Buchmiller Park in Lancaster, Pa.
